These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and I12Y Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (registration number HE 442933), governing your access to and use of the Mendus application ("App") and all related services ("Services").
By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
To use the App, you must be at least 13 years old (or at least 16 years old if you reside in the EU/EEA). By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet the minimum age requirement applicable to your jurisdiction.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us at support@mendus.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if your account remains inactive for more than 24 months.
The App provides AI-powered relationship conflict analysis tools designed to help users gain insight into interpersonal conflicts. The Services include:
You describe a conflict situation from your perspective, including your feelings and desired outcomes. The AI analyzes your description and provides a conflict score (0–85 scale), communication assessment, empathy analysis, blind spots identification, and actionable recommendations.
You invite a partner to provide their perspective on the same conflict. Both viewpoints are analyzed together, producing a comprehensive analysis with comparative scores, mutual blind spots, and mediation-oriented recommendations.
You upload screenshots of conversations (text messages, chats, emails). The AI analyzes visual content to identify communication patterns, tone, and areas of concern.
The App offers both free and premium features. Premium features require a paid Subscription.
The App offers subscription plans: Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly. Current pricing is displayed within the App and at the point of purchase — in the Apple App Store for iOS or on the website mendus.app for web — and may vary depending on your country, region, platform, and currency.
Free Trial: New subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your Subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.
Billing and Renewal:
Refunds: For iOS purchases, refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy. For web purchases via Stripe, you may request a refund within 14 days of initial purchase by contacting support@mendus.app, provided you have not completed more than 3 premium analyses.
We reserve the right to change Subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
We may release updates to the App from time to time that include new features, bug fixes, security patches, or performance improvements. Some updates may be required for continued use of the App. We recommend enabling automatic updates to ensure you have the latest version.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.
You agree NOT to use the App in any of the following ways:
Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account suspension or termination, without refund, and may be reported to law enforcement authorities where appropriate.
The App, including its design, code, AI models, scoring algorithms, user interface, graphics, and all related intellectual property, is owned by I12Y Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
AI Analysis results are computer-generated informational content. They do not constitute original works of authorship and are not owned by the User as intellectual property. You may use AI Analysis results for your personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not republish, sell, or commercially exploit AI Analysis results.
You retain ownership of the User Content you submit to the App. By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services. This license includes:
We will NOT use your User Content for AI model training, advertising, or any purpose other than providing the Services.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit all User Content, including screenshots of conversations, and that such submission does not violate the rights of any third party. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to share screenshots that contain content from other individuals.
We process your Personal Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available in the App and at mendus.app. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your data as described therein.
The App uses localStorage and similar client-side storage technologies as described in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy. We do not use traditional HTTP cookies. For details on the specific technologies used and your choices regarding analytics, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.
WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Without limiting the foregoing:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
I12Y Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents shall NOT be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or fifty euros (€50), whichever is greater.
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless I12Y Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, pandemic, epidemic, power failures, internet outages, third-party service provider failures (including AI processing infrastructure), or cyberattacks.
If a force majeure event continues for more than 60 days, either party may terminate. You may terminate by deleting your account or contacting support@mendus.app. We may terminate by sending notice to the email address associated with your account.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved as follows:
Notwithstanding the foregoing, for iOS App users: Apple, Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Nothing in this section prevents you from filing a complaint with a consumer protection authority in your country of residence.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, provided that the assignee agrees to be bound by these Terms.
Apple, Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to the iOS App.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by us. No waiver shall be deemed a continuing waiver or a waiver of any other provision.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes:
Your continued use of the App after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the App before the changes take effect.
Non-material changes (such as typographical corrections or clarifications) may take effect immediately.
